92 caravan electrical problem

my caravan has a mysterious electrical problem. at any speed at any time, hot or cold, the engine momentarily stops, the speedometer needle drops down and then instantly it resumes power and everything will be fine for any amount of time. our mechanic has checked it many times and can't pinpoint the problem. please help???

sorry can't help ya. all i know is that 92 caravan's are very prone to electrical problems, to say the least.
