know why this forum isn't as frequented? because it's one small little nook in an entire massive forum. just look how many sub-forums AF has! i bet half of the guys on the "other" 240SX-based webforums don't even know AF has a 240SX forum. hell, for the first few months i was a member on AF, i was a "car modelling forum"-only guy. i didn't discover this place until 4 or 5 months into my membership.

like i said before, if you don't like it, then leave. no point in bitching and whining when it ain't going to do anything.

It's a fact that a large number (not all) of the people who actually know the mechanics of tuning these cars have left. About a year or two ago when this forum was somewhat thriving, posts were frequent, informative and lacked attacks. Sure numbers will continue to grow, thats a given. But because of the way you children act, the rate of people coming, staying, and frequenting has diminished.

It's obvious that you all don't give half a shit about improving your forum by the responses you've posted. So keep punching eachother in the back of the head.

fuuuuuuuk> you're just looking for some fame by making these posts.. they really dont mean much, if you ask me. Why? Because I've been a part of the 240SX community for along time, since the beginning back in `96. Those were the days of the AMAROK list and when 240SX.org was first being started. You want to talk about KNOWLEDGEABLE people, you refer to people on THAT mailing list.. not on this dog-piss forum.

One day I was bored, I was searching for 240SX stuff on google trying to find out more information. somehow, I ended up on this shithole. I was amazed at how ignorant some of the posts were here.. I remember quite well what this place USED to be.

The only forum that has potential, in my opinion, is FreshAlloy -- its a NISSAN enthusiast site.. not a conglomerate like this place. I dont dislike the AutomotiveForums, I just think that the only good out of this place is the software. Its cool that its got a lot of divisions, so overall its a very "lax" forum.. which I enjoy. Fresh Alloy is very strict and I dont like to watch what I have to say, I like to say things the way I want to say them.

So please, end this crap about this forum ever having potential, because most of the people on here were never die-hard 240SX owners. Again, WHY do you care? I'm not trying to criticize, but you have a BMW. You're more than welcome to be here and talk about the 240SX, I am just wondering why this is such a big deal. Because if it meant nothing to you, you would have been gone already. Instead, you stay here and keep replying to all this crap.

As for what OTHERS on this forum say, I dont pay attention.. you are more than welcome to stay, you dont bother me. Just dont preach.. thats all. And I dont see what you mean about us "beating eachother up," we're all pretty friendly if you ask me. We just play rough. :)

I like this forum because its relaxed... REALLY RELAXED!! you can come and go all you want. And like Mike said, I go to forums like FA for info. and AF to chill, and chat with friends about the lil things. Still get a kick outa it reading all the newbs getting runned over and stuff. But the truth is there realy is no problem here, there's only an issue when ppl like you pop outa nowhere and start talking shite.

Its also funny to see a thread at FA talking shit about all of us here HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! Ill qout some on there, it went alil like this "AF is like FA BUT in reverse" get it HAHAHAH!!!

i don't really see AF 240SX as a "real" 240SX forum. we're just a bunch of guys who love the car, and occasionally we'll talk about it, but mostly it's little things. if i need die-hard info, i'll go to FA or 240SXF, or Zilvia. but i never post on them. compared to us, they're Nazi's. especially FA! good forum, good idea, but strict as FUCK! while i may not be a 240 owner right now (i was and will be again very soon), i've been into them for 4 or 5 years now, so don't assume that i'm a noobie.

yup. for the people who critize this forum for being too hardcore, just got check out freshalloys, zilvia.net and 240sxforums. i barely post on those casue i think i'll get my ass kicked. like what most others say here, the 240 division here is not even a real forum. if i have like really technical questions i usually go to 240sxforums and ask. here i just like to chill out and read whats goin on. i'm mostly on the car comparison and street racing forums cause thats more of my thing. i just ocassionally stop by here to check up on stuff. and NISSANSPR is chillin at the car comparison forums alot lately. hes still here, just not here here.
