What do you all think of the SCC project Silvia?

Hey all,

Just wondering what you all think of the SCC 240...

I've been following the articles since the first one where they bought it and did the SR swap. It seems pretty bad ass.

i like it. especially the flat-black paint-job. that r0xx0rs. and the CE28N's are nice too.

my future project is likely going to be a Sileighty, and since i'm looking for a cheaper 240SX to do this with, i'll probably go flat black with mine too, which is why i love the way their car looks. i don't know why, but flat black 0wnz me.

Have you read the latest article where they put a different turbo and intercooler on it? Their description of a 270something hp motor w/ no turbo lag sounds delicious.

They said the JIC coilovers they put on are great, but they are way way too expensive. I wonder how a set of Teins would compare...

tEIn (not tIEn but you edited yours before i posted so now i look like an idiot ) is just as expensive or sometimes MORE expensive depending on what model you get. JIC FLT-A2's are some of the best coilovers money can buy, but for around the same price, you can get a set of Tein RA's, another of the best coilovers money can buy. to compare, try www.automotiveforums.com. i know they carry Tein, but i'm not sure if they have JIC or not.

Umm I didn't edit my post, I think your just going crazy :P

I heard a few people talking crap about the SCC 240 on 240sxforums.com... Is that just because they hate SCC or what?

I wish I had Dave Coleman's job... err actually, screw the job, I just want his 240

Dude, his job must be sweet! All the companies send him cars to screw around in and all he has to do is write a few thousand words of BS about them.

That car is OK.. it cought my eye at last year's 240SX convention. Personally, I dont like publicity so I am not fond of these magazines talking about our cars. I would prefer the spotlight be shined on much newer cars. Where were these fuckers 10 or 13 years ago? Oh, they were talking BAD about the 240SX.

Fuck'em, thats all I care to say..
