|
Anybody try moving steering wheels from right to left (or left to right)
I know it's not a big deal, but I like my steering wheels on the left side. Anyone have any tips on cutting up the dash (like on the Accord wagons) and repiecing it back together?

i built a stretches s10 minitruck a while back and i completly smoothed the dash and painted it to look like fiberglass and re drilled a hole for the steering column on the right side.

1991 Eclipse GS-T Exterior: stock Interior: Boost and A/F gauge, TV/DVD player, thats about it. Motor: supra side mount, hard pipes, greddy type s, greddy profec b b/c, nology hotwires, 3 in. turbo back exhaust. Wheels and tires: stock shitty fan rims  with stock tires (no grip what so ever)

I gave that a shot on My Del Sol turbo model. It came out ok but Phatmitsu had a LH dash laying around so I went ahead and used that one instead (thank you SOO much). If I had no LH drive option I would have cleaned up the dash a bit more and used it. It is just really hard to make it look clean with all the cutting involved, I guess it matters what kind of car the dash is for though. So are probably alot harder than others.
