Question Buy? or not

theres a 1987 RX-7 GXL with 160,000 miles on it. theres some scratches on the hood from where the people went under a barbed wire. they're selling it for $1,600. good deal? or not...thanx...and any info on why or why not i should buy it would be appreciated..thanx

check it out first, compression test, aacceleration, oil consumption (only 1 quart every 600-1000 miles) handling.
