Swap or Hybrid 3rd Gen Accord?

Hey Im doing some research for my buddies 3rd Gen Accord and I was wondering about some specs. I cant find any online. If you dont mind me asking a few questions.

First how much can the tranny and Axles take? I know my stock corolla axles can take 200 so im guessing 300 for the accord?

Any ideas what would be better? Hybrid Engine, Swap the head to a vtec beast? Im not sure but isnt the engine A23Ae Or something im not sure. and any in the same engine family that are interchangeable heads.

Im thinking a complete swap is better, but no H22s. To heavy I here, so any others... B16s? OR the V6? im guessing thats a bit to heavy also.
Any and all ideas and or criticism.

if he has a lot of time, money and expertise, that car can go fast. otherwise, just get a car that is a bit newer and start from there.
