Almost joined the wrecking crew

not once, not twice, but 3 times this morning!!! first time i'm just cruisen do some where close to the speed limit, lights on (rainy this morn) and then this F'n bitch pulls out in front of me, i jack the brakes and come to a stop thank god...

and the other 2 times are somewhat related to each other, due to my blown tire i have another set of tires on the back of my car, their like 175/70/13 all seasons and apparently pure crap when compaired to my summitos (sp) goin round one corner prolly doing 50-55ish the ass end rips out around on me and i get into one helluva drift (really fun and scarey man) i work through it and get it all straightened out and never even left my side of the road, hell yeah, well my ass may have been over but yeah.... then about 10 min farther down the road i'm taking this relativily sharp turn about 40-45, on light throttle to pull the car around and as i'm exiting bam round she comes again!!! this time i do a 360 right in my lane end up stalled half in my lane half in the next... and some ladie got to watch that whole show haha she had stopped and was watching in the other lane... as i was pulling out i waved out the moon roof and she smiled haha.... those are my stories.. and all i got to say is thank god i didn't hit any embankments or gaurd rails! i'm finally getting my car to the point where i really love her again.

thats cool that everything was alright, it wouldve sucked if after you finally got that wheel bearing fixed that you would go and wreck your car.

All I gotta say is slow down in the rain man! If you would've been going slower nothin wuldda happend. I've had a bad experience in the rain, my friend who is a big time race enthusiast, knows how to drive real good to, was drivin on this road with his datsun 280zx with me in it, and he's showin off to me 'cause I don't ride with him often, and it just started drizzling. He's hauling ass up to the sharpest corner on the road, and he's like "where's she at, where's she at!" (the corner) and i'm thinking in my head 'cause I see the corner comming (oh shit slow down man there it is there it is!!) go in to the corner, and at the apex, everything let loose and we slid about a good 35-45 yards across the road, across a slight ditch, we went inbetween barbed-wire fence, some wire went under the car and the rest went over the top and scratched the shit outta his car, and into a cow pasture. Luckily it wasn't one of those ditches where is dips down real deep or we would've been rolling.

I NEVER haul ass in the rain unless it's a nice straight line.

I think we need traction control like they have on dodge rams. I know a guy that has one and no matter how icy or wet it is he hits the brakes the truck stop and never skids a bit.

nice, that would be sweet to have traction control, but we better be able to turn it on or off, cuz if its on, say goodbye to burnouts.

well, no matter how fast anyone pumps the brakes, its like when your foot is braking, it is skidding, and when you let go , it is rolling along, i want ABS because it goes like 100 times a second which obviously we can't do........

yeah thats true, but think of the weight savings by not having it

you can shave a 1/10th off your 1/4 mile w/o it.

i definatly wasn't hauling ass... i was doing close the the speed limit which i don't consider as traveling at too great of a speed... well obviously it was... but having the other tires took me by suprise... and as soon as my new tire arrives the problem will be taken care of... and i love the sumitumos they have really good traction... but the wear is pretty harsh... as you should expect with a grippy z rated tire...
