VR4 questions

Ive always been into VR4s, and lately ive been thinking about getting one after i get a job, ive been looking around in auto trader at them, and it seems like most of the ones in my area are usually about $7000-$10,000 for about a 93 or so.

Is that a good deal, even with a new engine?

is it possible that some thing is wrong, or is it just some one that doesnt know how much to sell it for? i looked on the auto trader web site, and couldnt find the ones im tlaking about, so no links.

If you hop on the www.3si.org site and look in the classefied section for cars for sale and wanted. You'll see similar numbers that you've found on autotrader. Any car can have a wide degree of value depending on condition and demand. I will say that getting into a VR4 as a teenager is an expensive proposition. Insurance will cost you a bundle as well as having to keep premium gas in the tank. If you do have to replace parts (and that happens no matter how great a condition the car is in) they are also expensive. I think its worth it, but you should go in with eyes wide open before plunging in with (what was) a 40K+ sports car.

thanks,

that seems to be a rpetty good site, before that ive been visiting www.3kgt.com and that hasnt seemed to help me that much.

I just love the look of a VR4 lowered on 18s, only car i wouldnt spend too much on looks, it already looks good , i also like the fact that its its twin turbo and all wheel drive for that cheap, considering Eclipse GST are more expensive, but, i guess teh insurance would kill me, but i could do what most people do, and have my dad say its his car, and say i dirve the old rusty pick up

Maybe in a year or so, my name will be GTOtuner
