Removed my oil pan on the B16 today...
When I got the motor i saw soot like gunk on lower part of the motor... though it was undercoating but uppon closer inspection it turned out to be oil... i though nothing of it because I had plans to remove the oil pan to replace the gasket and have the pan taped and welded for a Oil return line
 (better do it now than later) ... we after I removed the tranny and then the oil pan I noticed that the oil catched is smashed... I was like WTF ??? look a little closer... my oil pan is dented... pretty big dent too... so this add to my "to buy List" One oil pan... one Oil cather, I may see if i can fix it...I'll keep ya posted. K
