The door sits higher up, as in i think you won't see the head too much from the outside and the front windshield has a lower angle, so that it has lower drag coefficient. But these were early concepts..And MB is coming out with its own version of idrive. Which I suspect will be better than BMW's version since MB has had the chance to work on whatever people don't like about them..I guess germans like there gadgets. The new S Class is supposed to come out in 2005, or late 2004.
wow ... amazing! ... but it means the life cycle of the S-class getting shorter ... heem .. from the way you describe it sound interesting .. .. I hope MB will make the model as good as the new SL .. I like it very much ..

I noticed that too, MB is shortening the life cycle of each model these days because of competition, so many automobiles are nearing the quality of an MB, for much less.. or for the same, so there not the only one in town anymore. So they refresh the looks of the cars more often because everyone else is, basically.

They are a bit overpriced, but I think that people, in America at least, there average salary is going up, and more and more people are able to afford them. The biggest chunk of there sales is from the States. In Germany, they have really good financing plans for them, and so a lot of Germans can afford them also, even with there declining economy. Anyway, I do like the SL and the new E, the styling has seemed to get more on the "wild" side to compete with the likes of BMW and Audi. Conservative out the window. What I don't like is the new CLK, it has lost its sporting side I think, looks too much like a C class..

Maybe in US .. but in the asian countries MB sell with high prices ... the gap is quite big compares to BMW and Audi Prices ... ... I heard about that very nice program from MB in German if you buy with company name's right? .. .. so it's quite hard for BMW to compete with MB .. .. heemm .. you said the right word about the new MB design that have wild side ... ... I think BMW and Audi have to find new design to be able to compete with the new line from MB ... personally I don't like the new lines from BMW ... for me the styles are too much ... .. But I love the new Audi A8 ... soooo handsome and elegant ... what do u think? .. but the A6 need new design ... .. about the new CLK .. the body looks too skinny for the coupe even after install with aftermarket wheels and lowering kit .. the previous CLK look nicer and sportier after install with the big wheels and lowering kit ..

I heard that buying with a company name, you can lease the car, and every time they make a significant remodeling, they give you the new model to lease at the same price as the older car that you leased before. They also have this 10 yr financing plan that is makes it easy to get an MB. I just saw the new A8 on the autobah today, it looks so much better than the new 7 series. It has a very powerful stance on the road. Quite nice I think. I really think the new S is gonna be really awesome though.

You should see how much better the Porsche Boxster looked in concept form than production. You cant draw any conclusions - forgive the pun - until you see the finished product, in the flesh
