the problem w/ modding a honda auto is that it isn't going to hold up. if u build ur motor up, then ur going to blow ur auto tranny VERY quickly. we're not saying all autos are slow (z28 autos' are NOT slow by anymeans), but honda autos are very...very...very slow. compare the new 7th gen civics...an auto civic will run low 17's, but u can run a 5sp into 15s (both stock). thats a HUGE difference...

Autos can kick a manuals ass, if you put money into it.

That way you start at 3k rpms instead of 1.5k rpms

Level 10 makes all those parts that you need EXCEPT all those parts aren't inexpensive. 3000 dollars just for the tranny, then the torque convertor.... But if you do spend your money on that you'll be shifting faster than anybody with a manual.

do you know anyone with the level10 shiftronic? ive been thinking about getting it since its more convenient than a manual, and theyre only $500 now, they used to be a grand. also if anyone knows where i can find more info about it please post it, i want to read further into how it works.
