curb weight of stock parts vs cf parts etc..

hello i'm new...but i'd like to ask some questions

#1 the weight of a stock honda accord 4cyl hood
#2 the weight of a cf hood
#3 weight of AC compressor AC pulley AC tubes

Reason: if it is not a drastic 20-40lbs change for the cf hood I don't want to waste my money on it...they look ok, but the color clash on my euky green accord would be tacky. but anything for the weight reduction

so far my accord is 150lbs lighter than stock

I plan on removing the AC and switching to the lighter hood.

Reason: if the car is lighter...braking is better and less work for the engine...longer life of car if well maintained...oh yeah and 100 lbs is about .25 of a second faster...not much but a bit nicer when riding on the full tank of gas which is around 17 gal @5.71 lbs

Hope to see you guys in the other forums when i post my piece

exactly...nobody knows...nobody cares...as long as it looks good huh? Just keep telling yourself that when you drive with your carbon fiber hood that weighs just about as much as your stock hood.

Stock Honda hood = 34.6lbs
CF Hood = 16.8lbs
Air Conditioning Stuff = 61lbs (including all the piping)

There ya go!
And I don't care!

Eat my ass you clown. Just because we both have OCD when it comes to honda and acura performance doesn't mean you can do this. Sorry Slapnut, you can't do this. You don't know the weight of the parts. As soon as I submit this you are gonna get slapped in the mouth so hard you are going to wish I was a dodge neon.
