'95 325ic central lock not working from drivers door

My '95 325ic central locking feature doesn't work from the drivers door but does from the passenger door. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

On my 94 the problem was in the drivers door.
the door lock harness plug is mounted very close to the window, when the window travels down it was pulling on the wires.
the wires eventually cut. I simply soldered them back together and repositioned them with wire ties. everything works just fine.
hope that helps
