H22 estimate

a couple of weeks ago i went into One6 in arlington heights looking for a estimate on a h22 for my accord, one of the guys there told me around 4000 for the complete engine, ship, labor, mounts and brackets. what do you guys thingk?reasonable?

I know this is a crazy late response! BUT.. $4k is a little high. You can get a motor for about $2300 shipped to your door. Shouldn't cost more then a $1k for install. Probably depends on where you live. I got four estimates on my Accord and they all wanted $600-$700 for labor.

IF its a type s motor its str8 but if its not a type s its alot. I've been there and the guys seems pretty kool. They're prices aren't bad at all.

Does this One6 have a website or a phone number? If you have been there and the guy seems cool let me know... still looking for the best deal myself.

its not a type s, they order from jdmhondaparts.com
so if the engine is 2250 how much should the install with parts be if you guys say 4000 is too much?

Well go for it if u dont think its too much. Did you try other shops like Kwai? Keep lookin to see if u get better deals. Try evolution on arlington heights rd .
