Go to your local muffler shop, and they should be able to rig one up for you for cheap.

Just go to the muffler shop and have them do it for you.

It's your car do whatever you want, but keep in mind dual exhaust adds a lot of weight, and will totally devoid your car of backpressure which it needs to run correctly.

No what I'm saying is the 4 cylinder engine does not produce enough backpressure to have a need for a duel exhaust. V8s have a dual exhaust because they are huge and can pump out enough backpressure that adding a bigger exhaust won't take that much away from it. Even so some V8s don't even have dual. So I'm saying if you add dual exhaust its like saying your car can produce 5 backpressure, but you are taking away like 7 backpressure. Those aren't real measurements but you get the idea, your taking away more than you have to give basically.

Backpressure is a vacuum inside the engine and exhaust that helps the intake and exhaust valves run better, without it the engine will struggle more.

One thing you can do that won't hurt your car probably is do like some Dodge Neon mufflers do. Since they have the same kind of muffler we do (the one that hangs horizontally out of the middle of the back) they have the usual exit on one side, and another one coming out of the other side, so you basically have a regular exhaust, but dual exit.

actually thats like what i wanted lol

just wanted the cat back to split into 2 mufflers (prefinable really loud hot sounding mufflers)

and since my cadalitic convertor is shot its a failed pos and im too cheap to replace it how much hp would i gain if i just hollowed it out and pout a straight pipe through it so inspecions thinks i have one (since in ct they only check with a mirror)
