windshield washer

89 intrigue windshield washer verry intermitant.Motor is good.Wipers
work when buton is pushed.washer works when power is sent to it.Where is it wired to??Is there a relay?? TNX

98 intrigue washer

washer switch was replaced by dealer at a cost of $400.00
AND WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO GO TO A DEALER ???
HOSED AGAIN !!!!

How much was the part? Why do you say hosed at the dealer?...can you explain..?

98 intrigue washer

Part was $165.& labor was $180. +tax!! seems excessive for a washer switch....

I checked the labor when I got to work, pays around 2 hours, so at our labor rate at 85 an hour it would have been 170 just in labor.

Unhappy 98 intrigue

Thanks 4 the input BTB....Guess im just outa touch with repair costs...
Still hard to justify a weeks pay 4 a windshield washer repair...

I hear ya, if I didnt do it for a living I doubt I could foot the bill myself on some of the repairs I've seen.
