Can the back seat of a 2001 Lumina be removed? How?

Do you know if the back seat in a Lumina 2001 be removed easily? and replaced back. If yes, how? Need the additional length/space. Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

95 lumina

i don't know if it's the same procedure as it is for a '95 (that's what i have), but the body style is the same, so i'm assuming it is... you actually have to take the back seat out too. there's 2 1/2" bolts at the bottom of the back seat, then you can work the seat belts through the back seat and move it forward, then you will see 2 or 3 wierd looking bolts that have the washers affixed to them, just remove them, and the top of the back seat will life upwards. there's 2 things bolted at the bottom, and like 4 or 6 hooks at the top that so the seat needs to be lifted. hope that helps.
