So I've heard a pile of good things about Eibach springs. (sportline or prokit) I've also heard lots of wonderful things about Tokico Struts (HP's or illuminas). I am planning on installing Eibach Pro-Kit springs with Tokico HP's. But the more I look the more I start to think about the Tokico suspension package that they offer. 1.8" Drop springs with Tokico Illumina's (@ Civicshop) for $459.99.
What do you all think about the Tokico springs? Better than Eibach? How much will they settle? I like the idea of Tokico on Tokico, things made for each other, which is why I'm even asking. So, any experience out there with Tokico springs anyone? thanks wheel

I'm running the Illumina's with Eibach Pro Kit springs on my 99 EX with a 1.5" drop. I love them! The adjustments make a big difference, it's not bouncy and handles very well. I still need to upgrade the sway bars and get some camber kits, but other than that, I'm overly satisfied. Spent $600 on all of it, including shipping.

I have Blues and a Prokit on my s14. Gives me about a 1 inch drop. Ride is compliant (a little soft for my tastes), very smooth on the highways. If i had to do it over, I wouldve gotten adjustable shocks and maybe some stiffer (but not lower) H&R springs, only because i want more performance. As far as ride quality, theyre great.

hmmm...see I was thinkin what you guys are sayin. That the Eibach and the Illuminas would be best. I dont mind spendin a lil extra coin for the adjustables, especially if they can make a big difference.
My primary concern is ride quality, despite this spring project being a major re-building of my car (Im taking a small loan in addition to my savings to make sure it all gets done at once and done right), this is still gonna be a daily driver, with hopes of gettin on a few tracks here and there... so I am concerned with performance as well. So if Eibachs with Illuminas will give me a great ride (which seems to be the concensous from everyone everywhere) plus some decent handling in addition to a tower bar and some sway bars, then me thinks that's what Ill go with. thanks all for your help and experience. It is much, and duely, appreciated. -wheel
