RSX Type R, Coming or not?
Ok, 2 months ago i deposited $500 as a down payment for an Acura RSX Type R should they ever come over. So today i get this little letter in the mail from Reading Acura, basically stating that they will no longer be taking down payments and are refunding everyones. So i call up my man, and he says fat chance now on the Type R's, so now im thinkin shit, no type R's? i asked him why, and he said that basically it would not be feasable to sell the R's here because of all the Rally car craze lately, and the fact that they would be looking at the 25k and up range for 220 HP versus say, a WRX at 227 w/ a turbo and AWD or a bone stock Lancer Evo VIII. Now for me, id jump on the R's, aint no doubt, but im not the only Acura customer out there. Now dont get me wrong here, the dealers i spoke with said they think theyll come over, just later on, say 2005 as 2006 models.
 Just ventin an lettin y'all know whats goin with the R's. If you have any other news, insight or ideas lay it out here. As far as the CIVIC type R's, heres my little explanation. In the 14 or so months theyve been out, ive only ever seen 5, three of which were on the dealers lot. Fat chance, new car buyers dont seem to want a shorty hatch. Too bad, a lotta K20A's goin to waste...HOT IMPORT NIGHTS-PHILLY, MARCH 15 AT 5:00 PM oh yeah, they gave me my money back too. guess itll help pay off my first ticket.

Im starting to think the dealers are BSing me just to keep me from defecting to a WRX or Lancer. Sorry to hear theyre refunding elsewhere too RSXer45. BTW, what dealership and in what state, just out of curiosity
