Z Pricing

Im just wondering if there is anyone who can give me a rough estimate of what kind of price range i will be looking at for a 90-95 300zx. Im in Canada so I realize the pricing will be quite a bit different than the price range in the states. I want a 2 seater, I would like the km's to be around 100K, obviously less would be nice, but only for a good price. And I have heard good things about the motor in these cars so Im not too worried about the milage being too much above 100, just no more than 150. Turbo or non doesn't really matter, naturally I would be stoked if I found a turbo model for a good price but i can settle for the non. So any info you can offer to help a brother out will be appreciated very much.

Damn 100k km's is like 60k miles...it's hard to find ones like that in the states...let alone Canada...

Pricing for that kind of mileage would be like over 12k US for TT and around 8-10k US for the NA version

These are just rough estimates

Yeah that sounds about right compared to the ones I have seen lately. Most dont say the milage with them so I'm guessing that its high. Would I be a fool to buy one with more than 150k on it? Is there alot of things that need to be fixed or changed after that kind of milage or is this car so solid that i shouldnt worry about it?

i bought mine with 160k miles on it, and it runs awesome, doesnt burn a drop of oil, pulls really hard and has absolutely no problems with it, i've put 10k on it since i have had it and the only thing i've done maintenance wise is change the oil. so if you can find the one you want with a lot of miles on it, and it has been well taken care of, then go for it cause you will get it for a lot cheaper anyway

Yeah I am hoping I can find one that an older person bought as their new hot car and babied it alot. I figure someone who bought one brand new at that age has the money and the respect for the car to keep up maitenance and not rat bag the car. That would be my ideal buy.

yeah, also one thing you really really want to check is the weather stripping on the t-tops, if it wasnt taken care of then your t-tops will leak evertime water hits them, its very important that they dont already leak, cause it can be a bastard to get them to stop
