turbo charger

I just purchased a 1987 200sx se. I got a steal of a deal but the only thing is the turbo doesn't work. The boost gauge only goes to 0 and no further. I see that when I press the gas pedal the turbo cable does not move. Any suggestions?

ok, you said you have an SE model '87 200sx? somebody correct me if im wrong, but isn't the SE the V6 version? if so, i've always been told that the V6 was never available with a turbo and no kit is made for it because there's no room for a turbo between the engine and the wall of your engine bay. can someone back me up on this, because i don't wanna feel like an idiot.
