new,and full of questions

damn who would have thought after all the cars i've had my
favorite would be this cute little green box. My uncle had bought
a car from a friend of his, kept it a while and was going to sell it.
He asked me to come look at it and tell him what to ask for it.
Then I hop in this 91 honda civic hb to drive around the block.
Man what is under the hood of this thing!? I was expecting econo
box power. Any way I did some research and found out it was
a Si. I am pretty familiar with honda's owning a 95 del sol Si, and
currently owning a black 98 civic ex coupe. He told me $2500
and it was mine! I didn't even give him time to blink and wrote
him a check. I can only drive one car at a time so one had to go.
Drive a 91 box over a newer a newer sleeker coupe. Hell yeah!!
The handleing is what won me over then the great use of space.
I really love this damn little thing. Okay time for the question
I can't seem to find the answer to. Is it possible to use the 4wheel
drive system on the hb? I figure the main driveshaft will have to
be shortented, but will it still fit at the factory si ground clearance?

Welcome! Make yourself at home! As to the driveline question, you can use a CRV AWD system on all B series motors and I believe (Not 100% sure) you can use the "Wagovan" 4wd system for the same year... This is the SUPER boxy lookin thing...

Welcome to the board... the first 4th gen I ever drove was a 91 Si, It was love at 2nd gear, the car lot I worked at told me they'd let me have it for $1500 but they wouldn't let me make payments on it so I had to let it go... the 2nd I drove was my 90 EX, and if the engine hadn't been so messed up it would have had the same power... but that's a different story.

1st WELCOME!!!!

2nd, you can use the Wagovan's drivetrain, but its WEAK at the differential, i heard a ZC engine is too much power for it, so i'd recommend putting in a CRV Differential or something custom, but if you got the loot, anything is possible!!!!

thanks guys for the welcome and the info! I might be crazy but
I love honda's and I love rally's so the only way to get a turbocharged
all wheel drive honda hb is to build it my self.

If anybody has any more info on this let me know
