Nope, I didn't get in a wreck, but somebody busted into my car.

Fortunately, they were fucking retards, and couldn't figure out how to bust the ignition lock properly, so they didn't steal the whole car, and they couldn't figure out how to get the stereo out either, although they tried. They snagged my PIAA's out of my glove box and my radar detector. Was also cool, cuz at least they didn't bust any windows or punch out any door locks, so they musta used a slim jim or something. It's only too bad they didn't leave their wallet at the scene hahahaha.

Ah well... It's murphy's law. Since my alarm freaked out and I had to disconnect it, it's only logical that someone would happen to break into it now.

LOL, I even took my Pink Floyd "Pulse" album and stuck the blinking LED from it on my dash hoping that someone would think it was an alarm, but apparently, it didn't fool them LOL.

It's also pretty funny, because a year or two ago, someone stole the wiring harness for the PIAA's out of the glove box, and when I finally get a new wiring harness for them, they steal the lights themselves LOL.

Sorry to hear it. Yea, im real glad that they didnt get to take the whole car too! Im glad you can actually kinda laugh about it though since they were pretty stupid.

man that sucks, like everyone else says, at least they didn't steal the car or anything that cost a lot and didn't break anything, and it is good that you actually think its funny. I wouldn't have been so pissed if the thieves didn't break anything when they broke into my car, but no most thieves are morons and do something stupid, like break stuff that is unecessary, not steal the important things, or my all time fav, leave their wallet at the scene :hehehe:

My car has been broken into about 8 times now, I'm totally used to this shit.

I always go through the same emotions.

First, I get fucking pissed.
Then, I want to find and kill whoever did it.
Then, when I realize that that either won't happen, or is not the best plan of action, I want to rig up my car so it will explode when someone fucks with it... or spray them with mace or fucking something to hurt the next wanker that wants to fuck with my car.
Then, I realize that I can't really do a goddam thing except try and deter further theft/vandalism.

I'm just getting better at going through these emotions quicker.

I did read in the Honda/Acura Interior/Audio forum that some guy put razor blades behind his head unit and somebody tried to steal it and cut themselves all to shit, so maybe I'll try something like that...

That was a friend of a friend of mine ... I gotta get out to Santa Rosa (about 50 miles NorthWest of Napa) sometime and see his new system, he wins competitions with it all the time, it will actually STOP your heart from beating if you get too close to the car.

I wouldn't risk the damn razor blade shit, good idea, but with our fucked up government, you could run the chance of them sueing your ass for it. Yes I know, it makes absolutely no sense, but I'm sure it could happen since a theif can break into a house, hurt himself and sue the people that own the house and win. I know like in some states, or so I have heard, they allow alarms that shock people when they set it off, its not a deadly shock, just a leave it the fuck alone shock.
