I probably spend 25 hours a week playing on my PS2 and this game is awesome. I just finished the first difficulty level and have started on the second. It is not an easy game, but once you get good it is very fun. The weird thing is that I have a network adapter hooked to my router and have yet to brave the online part due to the fact that it seems like everytime I play a game online I get smoked. Well now that I finished the first dificulty level last night I am going to brave online tonight. I would definately recommend this game to anyone. I heard it is much better if you have a good surround sound system. I just had a house built and had it prewired for home theater, but cannot afford the stereo stuff I want at this point so I will wait. This game definately marks a new era in 1st person shooters. The only downfall is that I cannot have a friend over and both of us play on the same team. In fact the only way to play with others is online. So when my friends come over we hook up the multitap and break out Timesplitters 2 which is also pretty cool; especially the part that you can go through the regular missions and play as a team. This is fun when you are watching each others back.
