Ok heres the story

my clutch went out the other day and me and some freinds replaced it


but when i get in the car when i push the clutch pedal it goes to the floor with ease and stays there, now we tried bleeding it and it just didnt work

what seems to be the problem is that the slave cylinder rod isnt pushing the throwout bearing far enuff so that it can go into gear, if we manually push the throw out bearing in i can go into any gear,

what could be the problem?
