who would win - '97 GS-R Vs. '91 240sx?
i was lookin that the stats for a '91 nissan 240sx se, and i have to say that i was impressed. 160/lbs. @ 4400 rpm, RWD, out of a inline 4.
with that said, who would win between my '97 GS-R, or this 240?

there are more variables than torque to determine a race outcome BTW whats is the displacement on the 240. inline 4 doesnt have to produce the same power as another 4. honda sacrificed displacement for a short stroke and better than normal r/s ratio, high revving engine

hrmmm...he jus wanted to kno wut to expect man...cut him some slack.
i think that it'll come down to driver, BUT if u are even, then u should be able to beat him. he's gonna jump u off the line a little, but jus catch him in 2nd gear VTEC an u'll beat him. if he's a lot better driver tho, then he can beat u.

the 240's engine does pruduce nice numbers but it has a fuckin truck engine its not made to race. the 240 is a great car but its no good withiout the sr20det (silvia engine) installed. with that bad boy you could reck a gsr and when you compare prices if you do it right you will have a way faster car and pay less for it.

The 240 would probably beat it through the first two gears (depending on what model it is), but after that the gizzer would be pulling away.

the GSR will kill the 240. don't buy into the hype - that thing has a truck engine(as stated above) and with the rw drive system that thing carries some massive weight.
my friend had a early 90's 240sx and i would destroy it in my 93 civic ex - we even switched cars to see if it was driving and he smoked me by near the same length. If I had my GSR I would have beat it by more. Basically you can make them fast though and for cheap. my other car is a 95 G20 with a JDM (150hp) SR20DE motor in it - it gets smoked by my 'teg - but it pulls hard.
