Reinforcement bar? do you mean the foam packing? or the actual steel bumper? or something else? If it is that easy then it'll blow the market wide open for Aero-kits from places other than Japan.

Thanks

I'd like to comment on the fact that these Japanese kits cost so much....

First, the kits are not expensive because you are putting them on an Infiniti. Afterall the kits are really for a Nissan Primera.

Second, in the US we are used to horrible quality US made kits (ie... Erebuni and others). We are used to them costing around $700 to $1500 for a whole kit. Have you ever noticed the lines though? how the corners dont match up? how you need a plastic surgeon to make these kits fit your car? how sometimes you need to modify them so much that you'd think it was never made for your car in the first place???

In Japan kits cost more because they are better quality. Kits like the Impul and D-Face cost about $2200 USD in Japan. You can verify by looking up the price in Japanese Yen and doing the conversion.

Shipping the kit to the US is very expensive. These boxes are huge. The size of a refridgerator. My Impul kit came in 3 boxes. It costs several hundred dollars to ship it from Japan to the US (and this is only to the port) Once the kit is in the US you must pay US customs charges for importing merchandise, and then finally you must pay once again to have these huge boxes shipped to their final destination.

The whole shipping and importing charges will run anywhere from $800 to $1200

tada: $3000+
