Digital 3D Supercar: Phantom Predator [v.4]

Well, the torture is over. How did I improve perfection? Was I for real when I said it was a lot better? Was I joking when I said I stripped off quite a number of panels and re-did them?

You be the judge...

Presenting the Phantom Predator!!!!!!!

Note 1: Former name=Phantom ZX-2000
Note 2: The difference between many of the images is you can select whether you want the top up or down, and you can select style 1 or 2 of teh rims and spoiler.

Tons more pictures comming soon!!!!!! More colors, more angles!!!!!

U gotta fall in love with this...

yeah, wheels are still lookin pretty boring. And I wish you could do something about the window frames, i still think they look pretty awkward with the top down, but i understand that it would be hard to design around frameless windows. Lookin great though, do you have some views of the new rear coming soon?

that is crazy
What did you use to do that?
I got to say you got a nice technique but the design is a bit outdated like from mid 90s ,Fords "new edge" lines can be seen in almost any recent car, also the concept a of a supercar does not sell much in this days, try a crossover instead
nice work:sun: is this your first?

Thanks for the replys so far. I'll try to think of how I can do it without the frame around the window, but it'll be dificult if the window will go up and down. If any of you have any ideas for rims, post a link.

Just a little reply to "DSi" There's no such thing as outdated unless it is crap. Nothing becomes truly out dated unless it was crap to begin with, and people only liked it because it was new. The Predator concept was designed to contrast my ZX-1000 concept.

For example, smooth, straight, blonde hair n chicks will never be outdated. Shorter than sholder length black hair will be out dated. The VW Bettle will be outdated(again) the McLaren F1 LM will NEVER be out dated. The Phantom Predator will NEVER be out dated. Get the idea?

Dont get me wrong I like what you are doing but there are design waves that rule during certain periods. I thought the same way as you, look at the 300zx nice car, nice design will never die but the 350 is a step forward and it is not the same style.I saw your first one, looks like mclaren met F50 and NSX, second design has grown and looks better and I cant tell that is a mix of something, usually the first idea evolves several times and you are in phase 2.

I read you pretend to sell this, you already have thinked about some technical issues that I think are nice, but who can be your potential buyer? Supercar production lines are limited that why I suggested what seems to be the next generation of vehicle: crossovers but any design you do is fine just keep them coming theyll evolve in time

see some of concept sketches in here

No, I wasn't reading you wrong...I hope I didn't sound harsh.

I kniw it'll be ahrd to get this design into production just becasue there are so few cars of their class actually in production.

But, think if U owned a car company. You've been thingign of makign a supercar, but you don''t have the confidence in your team of stylists to produce something atleaset as good looking as other vehicles out there. Then you compe across my design. Basically you have the finished product nfromt of your eyes. You don't have to wonder if it'll be good lookign or not. You know that Sketches can B.S., and folwery words fro myour design department can B.S. The only thing that can't B.S. is a physical model or a 3D rendering.

Sure a few things may need a little tweaking, but that should not bother a billion dollar comapny.

Basically, It's likely this design will eventually sell (unless I make a better one soon), but it'll require a ton of patience on my end.

I'm currently trying to use this car design to showcase my skills to car companies, and see if they're interested in any design partnerships. Even if yhet can't use the Phantom Predator, they can still see my unmiistakable skill.

Right now I'm lookign for a design partnership for a car design that the production model would sell for $75,000 U.S. to $150,000 U.S. Basically I'd design the car while in constant communication with the company, and the end result would be perfect (engineering specs & "no" stylistic flaws).

then .....you got skills
search for specialized schools, jobs, and scholarships in the previous link that I posted ......also to get companies attention forecast their actual models they could actually be more interested in that

Rims

Rims...

For rims check out www.tires-n-parts.com
look under Wheels.
Ideas - The car is slick-round with sharp angles in it. So shoud be rims. Car has a lot of holes in it(air ducts) so should rims. The top comes down so the rims should have big spaces in them. I think perfect fit would be chrome five-spoke rims with sharply shaped spokes bend in the middle so both equal pieces would have an angle in between about 135 degrees. But I wasn't able to find anything like that. Or it might be a black seven-spoke rims with wide lip.

Valera.
