Does anyone know where I can find a JDM F20 cheaper then 3,000?

I thought an F20 was the Euro Type R accord motor, and ridiculously rare. If so, then it's not JDM, and good luck even finding one.

If you meant K20, then there is no way you're going to find one for 3k. good luck getting one for under 7k or 8k.

there's another F20 motor that you guys are overlooking.........the F20C1 S2K motor...that's the USDM one.....the JDM one is probably the F20C.

Ok, I just checked a couple websites, and I guess they used the F20 in a bunch of accords in the US, Europe, and Japan. So they aren't so rare, and not Euro only. I guess the SiR model is the rare one. Anyhow here is a website with a list of a bunch of different international honda motors:

http://www.luk-korbmacher.de/Autos/typesa.htm

I think it's translated from German, so not everthing makes a whole lot of sense, hehe. Good luck.

F20 B

Here are the list of all the most powerful engines mounted on the Accord (JDM):

SEDAN:

*1985 CA3 Accord 2.0Si, B20A DOHC, 160ps (3rd gen)
*1989 CB3 Accord 2.0Si, F20A DOHC, 150ps (4th gen)
*1993 CD6 Accord SiR, H22A DOHC VTEC, 190ps (5th gen)
*1997 CF4 Accord SiR, F20B DOHC VTEC, 180ps (6th gen JDM)
*1997 CF4 Accord SiR/T, F20B DOHC VTEC, 200ps (6th gen JDM)
*2000 CL1 Accord Euro-R, H22A DOHC VTEC (spec S), 220ps (6th gen JDM)
The F20B is a new DOHC VTEC unit which appeared on the latest CF4 JDM Accord SiR/SiR-T (different from the US version). The difference between the SiR and SiR-T is one is automatic trans. only (SiR) and the other one is manual trans. only (SiR-T). The max power of this unit is 200ps (for manual only SiR-T) and 180ps (for auto only SiR). The F20B DOHC VTEC unit has a blue rocker cover instead of the usual Black.

And why would they be "overlooking" this motor? The F20b and F20c are two COMPLETELY differant motors...
