The one with the vents around the gauges has two screws through the top of it. Unscrew those and yank it out of the clips.

No there is more to it then that - ok well not much more. Where your Hazardlight/clock is there will also be another screw, miss this one and yup you just broke your dash. I forget which one its behind, I think its the hazard light though... pop em out and you will find it. Then start on the left side, give her a tug, and keep moving to the right. If theres much resistance go slow - maybe theres another screw you forgot.

Yeah because anyone in their right mind is going to tug on clock wire, that goes without saying. The clock unplugs and slides out. Should I have also told him to turn the screws left to loosen them as well. So anyways if you see wires dont pull them out, obviously someone here has before... not to mention I have the same exact car and I have removed that thing about 10 times and the whole interior as well.

No it doesnt go without saying. You tell people to tug, they tug... which can result in them snapping their dash. Its not a big deal as it can hopefully be superglued back in and no one will know otherwise... but you never know. Dont think people aer smart, if he was - he wouldnt be asking how to take the dash apart :flash:

True I never thought of that. It takes less time to sit and figure it out than to get on AF and start a thread about it. Oh well, better stock up on the super glue...

Exactly, its not like its rocket science. He will learn soon enough though... hopefully. Then in a few months he will wonder why he spent all that time painting his interior "hot pink" because it seemed like a cool idea at the time :finger: :flash:
