4x4 wheels
Hey everyone-
I'm new to the board, but have been modeling off and on for 20+ years. Anyway, I'm looking for some 4x4 style wheels to be used on a Tamiya Jeep Wrangler kit with American SATCO 36" Super Swampers (the oem tires are waaay too small! :evillaugh ). It looks like Machined Aluminum Specialties is the only builder I can find that makes rims for the larger inner diameter Swampers. However, most of their centers are more show car than rock crawler. Any suggestions? I'll probably settle for the MAS rims (w/ either Shield, Centerlines, or maybe the Superlite centers), but wanted to see if I have any other options. .alakai |

Those are the ones I would've recommended as well! Good luck with the project and welcome to AF!

Thanks. I'd need to completely rework the suspension in order to squeeze those tires under the Jeep. I might just go with SATCO's 33" Desert Duelers and save my self some scartchbuilding time. Anyway, I've got to finish off a few models before I even get to it.
