Thermal R&D Q & other Newbie stuff
Just sold my JDM CRX and bought a 94 JDM Integra ZX and it has a new Thermal R&D muffler (Part# M190) on it which is damn loud.
I have only had the car 48 hours and the weather is really bad so I have not been able to check the exhaust for leaks. Are these exhausts normally that loud, like able to set of other cars alarms loud? I have been reading through all the posts here but no one seems to have said that it is too loud?!? All the rest of the exhaust from the header down is stock. Secondly is there an Online Helm manual available anywhere? I am going to get the Helm hard copy but that is going to take a few weeks and I could do with seeing a few diagrams for stuff I want to do this weekend, partucularly the central locking and dashboard electrical diagrams (bulb gone in centre console). I have searched all the usual spots but cant find one so far. Thanks, John

i'm not sure about the manual, but as for the exhaust, you should check out www.carreview.com for reviews on it, and see what other people have to say about it. you may want to email some of the people from the review for a better answer to your question.

theres no online helm manual, why would they do that, they'd just lose money. you can check this link but i dont know how much it will help.
acuraparts Thermal exhaust are pretty loud, you'd know if you had a leak, you can hear air escaping when you shut the engine down

Cheers for the input guys, hopefully the weather will imporve by tomorrow so I can take a proper look at the exhaust.
