I would, but so far from what i heard, sounds like the engine is just a B16, I want a b18-20 in the dx. I know the Si weighs more, that is why i said it will be my daily driver/show car and the dx will be my monster, whether it be a drag monster, or an auto-x monster, it will be a monster one day. If i do it this way, I will have 2 projects, instead of just one.

Would anyone know what all will have to done to bore out a 1.8 to either a 1.9 or 2.0? I was reading an article over Signal's Non-Vtec N/A CRX and they were talking about they bored out the 1.6 to a 1.8. This got me to thinking about what all it would take, or if you could, to bore out the 1.8.

Yes I know, I don't really know that much yet, but I would like to find this stuff out before I get the engine, and also before I start working on this engine.
You know what i would do? take the car drop it off at signal and tell them i want them to bore it out to 1.8 but thats just me. Yes i am a bastard and live 5 minutes from signal lol

Nope! you will be broke and never finish iether one... Then you will end up selling one to finish the other and not getting half the money you invested in the one.... As you can tell I have been down this road before...

Nah, I really don't see that happening to me. I have high hopes for me, don't want to be like the rest of my family, striving to keep money. This is my reasoning for going to college. I predict I will have both cars finished, might take me several years, but I will not give up, nor sell either one of them to finish the other. I see myself as a true Honda-holic, I cannot turn my back on one to help the other out. If all this goes as planned, or close to planning, I won't be in that big of a hurry with the dx, since I will have another car to drive at the time, so I can just take my sweet time, and make sure everything is done right the first time.

I hafta say that the guys at SPEEDWORKS know what they're doing. The owner is one of my best friends and has always treated me really good. He only deals with good quality products, and has good prices, too. You should give them a call! I can also get ahold of full swaps from a motor shop here, if you want me to check on prices for you.

that is probably what is going to happen with the dx, sit in the garage for a year or so. Like I said if all goes as planned, I'll get the si and use it as a main car, make sure everything is going fine on it, then slowly start to work on the dx. I know nothing goes as planned, but if it half way does and I end up with this other car tonight, I will not sell one car to finish another, to me that just ruins the whole point.
