2 Door Tahoe

What year was the 2wd made?was it 96

I think you could always get 2wd with the four door Tahoes, however starting in 1996 the option of 2wd was available for the first time with the 2door Tahoes.

Incorrect. There were 2 Doors and Suburbans. Then in 96, the poorly designed 4 doors came out. (if you don't believe me about the crappy design, then why dont the rear windows don't roll down more than 4 inches?)

There were 2 Door K-5 with the nonvortec 350 that had a speedlimiter at 85mph that got discontinued in 96.

Actually 95 was the first year for both. Up untill then they were just K-Blazers. As far as the design the windows could not roll down because of the design of the door thus it also added a child safety feature into the design so they left it that way.
