Talking IDRAG Nationals (PIC INTENSIVE)

For those that don't know, there are 2 main National Drag racing events in New Zealand (specifically the North Island). There is the 4 and Rotary Nationals late in the year and the IDRAG (Import Drag Racing Advancement Group) Nationals which are on this weekend.

Today was supposed to be Scrutineering, Qualifying and Grude racing. But due to shitty weather in the morning all that got done was the Scrutineering. Here are some pics from DAY 1.

(no they are not all Skylines) for once

All motor Civic drag car:

High Octane GTS-4:

GT-R:

White EVO:

Another Mitzi: (or bitzashitty as they commonly get called)

Yet another Mitzi: (what was I thinking?)

Harlequin coloured R33:

1 Quick Supra:

yup SDU helps out.

It was a good day with Reece running 8 second 1/4's and me snapping LOTS of pics.

Can be a bit hard trying to organise some of the "egos" out there (aye Razor )

I'm a bit stuffed so I'll post up some pics tomorrow

THE MAN

8 second GT-R has to been seen to be believed.

Not only is it the quickest import drag car in New Zealand it is consistantly the best looking also.
