Low Idling, but no stall
Okay, my dad and I changed the front rotors and brake pads just today. After taking it down off the jack, the car wouldn't start. I finally decided to press the clutch and gas simultaneously with starting the car, and so it started... but would try to stall until I kept the rpm's above 2000 for a minute or two.
Now starting isn't my problem, but before we did this work, the car would idle at about 800 rpms... now it's between 5-600 rpm's and I am scared of stalling... Any ideas of how to do an "at home" fix up of this?

The details of how to adjust the idle are on www.se-r.net, but I'm wondering what you knocked or disturbed that has screwed up the idle.
Besides the low idling, does the engine seem to behave OK?

Have you had a look at this thread? http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t8043.html
otherwise, try reading up here http://www.se-r.net/engine/troublesh...de/tuneup.html Oh, and did the new rotors solve that steering vibration problem you had? Please post it in that thread for future reference if it did

The rest of the gears appear to be running at the regular rpm's, it's just when idling that it seems to be lower than usual...
I looked at that thread, but was unsure if my changing the brakes would warrant any special attention... Thanx for the help so far! I'll check it out.
