Cuspid Speakers?

Just wonderin if any of you have heard of Cuspid speakers/amps and shit. I bought a pair of their 700 watt 6X9's, 1400 watts total and wanted to know how Cuspid is.

yea, um....i just blew one of the 6 X 9's this afternoon, wayy toooo much bass for em, but the tweeters and midrange still work and the other one is alright too. but i have the red ones if you checked em out. and yes they do look cheap, i only got em for 20 bucks off of ebay so no big loss. but the only reason they are 700 watts is because that they're a competition speaker they're made not for bass like a sub but for the midrange frequencies and they can handle a lot of treble, but i want bass!!, haha and they do have good bass, up till about 300 watts where the voice coil seems to implode or sumthin, not sure what went wrong. their subwoofers are actually quite pathetic, 12 inches and only 600 watts, at that rate i'll buy an Audiobahn 15 inch and that's like 1500 watts and probably cheaper. i was somewhat expecting to be amazed when i went to their site, wrong, i was quite disgusted, other than that that Bullet tweeter is 1000 watts, but who wants a tweeter with 1000 watts??

But I'll reiterate, the $99 - 1600 watt "compitition" amp that they sell, is only 2x80 watt RMS. In 4 channel mode, I bet it puts out less then 25 watts RMS. Most new head units put out more then that.

Its CRAP!

Hell, you can get a Jensen XA2100 that only costs 70 bucks and puts out 2x83 watts RMS - 2x100 peak

sorry bout that, i dont have shit for a memory and didn't remember that i had done that. man your not shittin, if what you say is true i'm glad i didn't buy those speakers for any more money, bastards, i think someone should sue them and tell me where they get 700 watts out of those or any of the other crack they sell.

last night i was actually thinkin about puttin them 6 x 9's back on ebay and tell them that everything that Cuspid sells is shit, i mean i thought they were nice, looked like they had a good construction and strength and wtf happens, they blow up on me.

no company i have found yet makes a 700 watt 6x9 thats compltelty ridiculous. and 1000 watts to a tweeter is the funniest shit i have ever heard in my life! if you want a good set of highs and mids, go boston acoustics component systems. They peak and 450 watts havin 75 watts to em makes most people exit their car to turn em up loud. but thats just my view on things :-)
