Us 240sx Hicas
Does anybody know if any of the US 240SX models come with HICAS, and what trims it was on? If HICAS was available, how can you tell (i.e. is an SE badge on a '98 240SX an indication of HICAS, or was it available optionally on certain trims)? Thanx for your help in advance.

Hicas was a rare option on se level cars. Most SE 240sx arent Hicas, but if they are, you can see the word "hicas" etched on the side (kind of in the same place where a vtec sticker would be on a 99-00 civic si).

I'm not sure if the 98 SR you were referring to was just an example or not, but super hicas was only available on S13's.
Hicas was part of a Handling package which came with: Super Hicas, LSD, Sport suspension, and 205 series tires. check this FAQ for info on what came with what

i have a s13 with super hicas i love it. but the parts are hard to find and extremly expensive

lol. I just saws all'd through my hicas........not like i needed it, the car is finally in the junkyard. Was the barest looking 240 iv ever seen. worthless to a junkyard basically lol.

it didnt come with an LSD, it came with a VLSD
