2016 ford explorer engine 2.3 L 4 cylinder spark plugs

Can someone explain a how-to on the spark plug removal of this engine. I see the 6 cylinder engine but not the 4.

Thank you in advance

What part are you struggling with? They should be pretty readily accessible once you remove the top plastic appearance cover and the Coil on Plug (CoP) mounted above each spark plug well. You may want an extra deep spark plug socket and an extendable magnet to both remove the old spark plugs as well as to carefully get the new plugs started.

Thank you for replying. I worked on my Toyota Camry and Chrysler Pacifica.
My niece called me up telling me her check engine light came on. I told her if she can drive to Autozone in Tracy, CA they can use their scan tool. The P0301 code came up as a misfire in cylinder 1. I have never worked on her car, I only have seen a video of someone working on 6 cylinder version of the Ford Explorer. I just don't want to remove something I shouldn't have.
