Land Rover Defender

Hi everyone I’ve got a 1995 Land Rover Defender with the 300Tdi 2.5L turbo diesel engine and I’m looking to rebuild it properly. I’ve done some work on other engines before but this is my first time tackling a Defender build. Right now I’m trying to figure out the best way to time the injection pump and set the cam and crank gears accurately. If anyone’s been through this or has solid tips from real experience I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance for any help you can share.
