2015 - Windshield Washer Pump Not Spraying

2015 HD2500 - Recently, I went to clean my windshield, and the wipers activated, but it did not spray any fluid. I didn't think the reservoir could be empty, I had filled it within the past month or so. (And it also has a low washer fluid warning feature, which it did not display).
I added some fluid and still nothing. Checked the fuse, it is fine.
Unlikely the fluid hose got clogged, but I have seen that happen before.
I got to looking for the reservoir / pump assembly, and the filler opening is at the top of a long, extended snout that leads down below the Auxiliary battery on the driver side. (It is a Duramax Diesel with 2 batteries).
I guess I am wondering if anyone has seen this failure before, and if it was a faulty pump, or some other cause? And it looks like I will have to remove the grill, radiator cover, and driver side headlight assembly to get to the unit, unless perhaps it is accessible by removing the inner wheel well liner?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Sometimes it's just dirt preventing a good connection at the pump. Other times, it's just a failed pump.

Re: 2015 - Windshield Washer Pump Not Spraying

UPDATE - (Sorry for not posting this sooner).
It did turn out to be a failed washer pump. And I was able to replace it through the Driver side wheel opening, after removing the wheel well inner liner.
The pump is literally just pushed into a rubber grommet at the bottom of the reservoir. So the removal was fairly simple, just unplug the connector and the rubber hose, and pull the pump out of the grommet. But to do that, you will be positioned directly below it. And if your reservoir is fairly full, (like mine was), you will likely get an unwanted bath of washer fluid. I went to my local O'Reilly parts store, and bought a cheap fluid transfer pump, dropped the hose from it into the reservoir fill cap, and was able to suck nearly a gallon of fluid out and into the jug. Which kept me dry, and saved me from buying another gallon of over-priced blue water.
Pushed the new pump into the rubber grommet, reconnected the hose and electrical connector, and it works good as new.
