You do amazing work. The fuel pump on the front of the engine, is that a scratch built piece?

Looks outstanding Dave. Terrific detail work and knowledge of the subject. Simply superb.
Couple of things, if I may. Some of the fittings look a bit out of scale, but not that big of a deal. Second thing is my personal pet peeve, but I think you are putting too much clear on the body. Keep at it!

The "Crimp tubes" are probably what you are referring to, some are mated to .035 pro tech line and some are mated to .045. I believe the .035 line is a little thin and gives the appearance of out of scale thickness but the crimp tubes are the only thing out there to represent the Keith black or new style pressed fitting. Good morning everybody,
I just joined this forum when I found the thread of this build on google. I just won this car on ebay and I cannot wait to have this car added to my display case. I had no idea this car was built 15 years ago! I always wanted this car in diecast but I am not a fan of racing champions at all. I build models myself, but nothing to this magnitude. I can imagine everyone has seen the completed build at this point. If this forum is still active, when the car shows up to my house, I will hopefully get this thread finished with the finished build pictures. It may take a while however as for I just deployed to Iraq recently. Take care everyone! Tyler
