2017 Pacifica Touring Auto start/stop warning light

I recently purchased this vehicle, yesterday this warning light came on. I am waiting to hear back from the dealership about having it checked but wanted to see if anyone here could enlighten me as to what the possibilities are. This van has 100,000 miles on it, and was supposedly serviced immediately prior to purchase.

In doing some quick research, it seems it could be any number of problems from dirty battery terminals to low oil level to fuses, etc. I was told it would be ok to drive until i can get it checked but that is not a comfortable option for me as getting stuck on the side of the road isn't exactly my cup o' tea.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Re: 2017 Pacifica Touring Auto start/stop warning light

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm referring to the yellow Automatic Start/Stop light. I started reading the possibilities and found so many...issues with the alternator, oil level, battery terminals, etc. I'd like to assume it simply means this specific system just needs to be serviced?

I've had this van for under a week, I just wasn't expecting any foreboding warning lights so soon.
