2020 Outback Transmission Failure

My 2020 Outback, 3 weeks out of unlimited warrant, but still in powertrain warranty with 13,706 miles, experienced a transmission failure over 1 week ago. Right now, sitting in limbo at dealer, purportedly waiting for direction from Nationsl Subaru Technical Support. 1 week later, no plan. Finally got a loaner today. Presuming this gets repaired, do you recommend keeping vehicle till expiration of powertrain warranty or selling/trading ASAP? The last vehicle I had with a transmission failure, a 1989 Lemon Continental, was a disaster. Keep or dump?

Re: 2020 Outback Transmission Failure

Have you also experienced the Subaru brake issue yet? While not as costly as a transmission, it is a persistent issue. It may be worth considering that when deciding whether to keep of sell it.
