At least you know how to do it yourself, or maybe you have the lifetime powertrain also. But yeah, I don't think that should happen unless maybe it is a cold fluid situation. Thats the most important thing I forgot to mention, that control module was replaced under the powertrain lifetime warrantee btw... |

I 've had the car since 13k miles, now 80k, never was any different. My wife's new Equinox, same thing. As an ASE master tech, retired now, tried to stay up with modern technology. Just trying to allay your fears here. See what happens at the same temps and driving conditions prior to the repairs.
