New to the Benz world

I bought a Benz from the auction and there's a wire with a plug on the end I have no clue where it plugs into it was just laying there it has to go somewhere under the steering wheel it was laying tucked under the panel where the the diagnostic OBD port and a hood release is, if anybody has a 2001 e430 4matic w 210, I'd appreciate any help I've looked all under there and I can't see where it may plug into

I did some more looking around and I see a empty square in the knee bolster like a switch or something goes there it's too the right under the steering wheel of the knee bolster I think that's where that two wire plug goes I don't know what was there somebody must've took it out so if anybody has a 2001 e430 4matic w210 can you look at your knee bolster and see what switch or what's in that spot greatly appreciate it
