That's got it.

Another one in the same genre which applies to me directly is Steve Goodman's "Do they still play the blues in Chicago?" (a.k.a., A dying Cub Fan's Last Request) which is possibly now more fitting than ever.

And it retains its relevance to the thread content since fans are now more "tired" than ever.
