Hello, I currently own a 2010 Nissan Versa hatch back with only 80k miles on it, and the only bad thing about it is it’s bumper is falling off from a crash but I fixed it relatively well, so it no longer scratches or anything. I want a car with AWD so that I can drive up to the mountain and go skiing, and I found a 2007 Subaru Impreza with 194k miles. The head gaskets, radiator, heater core, and alternator are done, and the stereo system is upgraded plus it has a touchscreen. Is it worth it selling my Versa and buying the Subaru? Or would it be better to buy winter tires for my Versa and forget about the subaru

Re: Selling
Keep the Versa, get winter tires, and forget about the Subie (Too many miles!)

Re: Selling
That's a lot of miles, but if all the head gasket maintenance was recent and there's no rust, it might be OK. I had a couple of Subarus over 200K and they ran well, maintenance being key as with most makes.
I don't think the Versa holds up that well in resale though so you might not make out well. Definitely would be more economical to just get a good set of winter tires. Last edited by shorod; 06-02-2020 at 08:30 AM. Reason: Removed possible spam link. |

Re: Selling
Hope you keep your Versa as a Subie is really bad idea in this case.
