How many miles on your Sonata?

I have a 99 Sonata with 135K, I am the original owner also.

I have an '03 with 66k. I bought it used with only 1000 miles on it.

Bought it early last July with 50450 miles

Not anything out of the normal. I am just wondering how old some of these cars are and how many miles are on them.

For 135 K that is excellent.

200,000km on my 99 Sonata... works out to roughly 125,000 miles.... 2.4l 4 cyl, 4-speed auto... I got it used and have had to put nothing into it, trans and brakes were done before I got it.

I have a 2007 with 1200 miles and I have warped rotors, not a factory issue I am sure but someone at the dealership in NC must have been doing brake testing. I had a '89 GLS that I bought new and put 60,000 miles on before I sold her and I never had any problems.

I have the exact same issue. Warping started at 300 miles and is getting worse. Only 2000 miles so far on the car.

I took my car back to the dealer and they replaced the front rotors under warranty (no quesitons asked) that solved my problem.

Good choice. I'm planning on doing the same. I also have a 05 Sorrento that's having a brake job today for the same reason and Kia wouldn't cover it. No problem with the pads ... just the rotors so warped they have to be replaced! Very typical from what I've heard.

Replaced both rear wheel bearings (1 @ 52,000 and 1 @ 58,000 mi.)

A/C compressor is squeaking on and off

Check engine light is on and wont clear due to coolant sensor phantom
problem.

Suspect that a couple recent problems are related.. once in a while the tack quits working and about the same time a grinding or vibration feeling and noise has me pulling over and checking the tires. Feels like I'm getting a flat tire or a serious bearing issue somewhere... then it goes away..

got me scratching my head !!??

Also, looking for some wheels cause the ones on it are real ratty (bought the car used at 42,000 mi).

I have 317,000 on my 2002 Sonata and my wife has 225,000 on her 2001 Elantra. Never any major problems with either. Mainly just excellent maintenance done at the dealership. We're sold on Hyundai!
