Chrysler 2008 Sebring Battery

My Chrysler 2008 Sebring battery goes flat after sitting parked for a week or so. If driven every day it start OK but if after 3 to 4 days being parked it starts OK but I cannot rev the engine till 10 minutes or so with blipping the throttle trying to get the revs up. Is this because the battery in nearly drained / flat.
Is there 2 problems, one the battery goes flat after standing parked for a week or so the other the car starts after sitting for 3 days or so but but won't rev up till after blipping the throttle over 10 minutes.

Re: Chrysler 2008 Sebring Battery

If the battery dies almost completely then you get the car to start its going to take a few to recharge it properly. While the system is low all kinds of crazy things can happen. Low voltage isn't good.

You need to diagnose your issue though. I'd the battery old? If so that could contribute to it dying quickly. A vehicle should be able to sit more than a week without the battery draining. Another possibility is a parasitic draw. A draw could kill a new battery if its high enough.

Hi, Thank you for coming back regarding my query. The battery is 9 months of age and this problems takes place a nudger of times earlier on when the battery was brand new and has taken place years ago with other batteries. I have had current battery drain checked and this is with-in the limits. I just think it is so strange for the car to JUST START after sitting 3 or 4 days but the engines takes time ( 10minutes or so ) to rev up.
